A Sad Tail

This story is a parody. Read the original here!

I looked to the left. There was a buffalo standing. His name was Jafarrabaadi. I knew him since my school days but was meeting for the first time. I knew he had 1 breath per 3 seconds, this way his total breath count in a day was 24*60*60/3. That is precisely equal to 28800 as indicated by google calculator.
Well since he saw me for the first time he didnt recognise me. To promote our friendship, i offered him pedigree. But knowing that it was for dogs he got offended. I got some complaintful letters and photographs from him about this. I buried them (since paper can be buried). But how to fix up memories? I still meet him at the back of my mind with my pet seahorse and my pikachu. he asked me "baaaaaaaaaaaaaa?" and hit me with his horns as a polite gesture.
I suddenly remembered about my time machine and went back in time. There was nothing notable about the past except the fact that i had been a pokemon fan and one of my friends collected pokemon Tazos.
Well, so i came back to the present. The buffalo said "dont stay with me" and not "go away" and that has made all the difference. Coming to the more pertinent question, i wondered "does my seahorse love me?".  Yes! you guessed it right. The answer is yes and next monday its his 18th bday and he is going to get his driving license soon. Meanwhile i discovered that my mind wandered for a few weeks.

He said again "baaaaaaaaaaaa?" at which i offered him chocolate chip cookies. He smiled, but the smile, the smile was still somewhere the same in his face that i had seen in a photograph of my biology textbook.
I said "its a pleasure to see you here". at which he asked "baaaaaaaaaaa?".
I replied "I still enjoy laughing and crying with difficulty".
He said "baaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" We both laughed together.
"I have to go and get treatment for pikachu", i uttered "his thundershock attack has become less effective." He wagged his tail in sadness. He turned back and asked "Have you been using it against a rock type? Because man, if you're doing so then he'll be in big trouble". Nothing else was said or done. I walked away and suddenly pikachu thunderbolted me. realizing my mistake i hurried towards my high speed rowing boat. My pillow is still wet, but i let my seahorse splash enough water from his aquarium. Forever! every end is not unhappy, this is the right time to move on...

Deep South

When i have something on my mind,
i cant think beyond the second line.
Trying to frame something fine,
i cant figure whats beyond the salty lake of time.

Still i have something to remember,
sinking ships and burning embers,
treasures locked in hidden chambers,
and dragonflies with haunted reindeers.

And behold the wonderous cloud,
that rained in vain and thundered loud,
upon the valley of the ruthless crowd,
just one could have the marvel renowned.

Still unsung was the lonesome lad,
firm and keen but grimly clad.
Floating along in his trireme,
he ascended upon a solemn stream

The crowd fought for the single draught,
of the elixir that angels sought.
Brothers all slain till one survived,
only to stand at the edge of his life.

Regarding the lad,
he was osiris - the lord of death.
Eyes gleamed in ambush,
and a fiery breath.

The Catapults

What I tell of is a tragedy that comes from reality
It sure holds some gravity,
As each syllable is uttered, my mind gets some more clarity

The troops were ready,
The horns were steady
The spears were so fierce,
With flesh to be seared
Gold plated armors
No more did they look- ordinary farmers
And just so you know,
It’s not a brainstormer

The general had shouted,
The armies had mounted
Few even now were wounded
The faces were clenched
Soon the whole place would be - scarlet drenched
The armies were face to face
Each wanted to smash other with his mace
There were Towns to be razed
Leave behind no trace,
Of any living race

It’s hard to understand
Which part of earth is their homeland?
It’s becoming a trend,
To outstand,
The enemies that go out of hand
The swords of knights shone like the angry sun
And soon outshone the original one
Within minutes the damage was done

The steeds neighed over corpse strewn mud
Then there came a joyous flood with prized studs
Rejoicing the victory over the blood
